Highland Sewer and Water Authority

Highland Sewer and Water Authority is a non-profit municipal authority located in southeastern Cambria County. We provide sanitary sewer service to over 5,500 customers in Geistown Borough and Richland Township and public water supply service to more than 11,000 direct customers throughout 17 municipalities.  Additionally, Highland provides "bulk" water to 12 smaller water utilities which distribute and re-sell to their direct customers.

As such, Highland's water is used by over 40,000 persons, as well as by significant Commercial and Industrial users.  The Authority's service area stretches from the upper parts of Stonycreek Township then northeast through the adjoining Geistown Borough, Richland Township, Adams Township and adjoining Borough and Townships ending at the southern border of Gallitzin Township.
