HSWA included in PA DEP PFAS baseline sampling plan

The subject of national attention due to concerns about potential health impacts, PFAS is a group of man-made chemicals that have been widely used for decades in industry and consumer goods. As part of our steadfast commitment to providing reliable, high-quality drinking water, we want you to know that we are following and participating in policy and scientific research regarding PFAS, and remain confident in the safety of our high-quality tap water.

Highland Sewer & Water Authority's (HSWA) Beaverdam system was included in PA DEP PFAS baseline water sampling plan.

HSWA's water sample results were a Non-Detect (ND) for PFAS.
