- WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The water system improvement project consists of the replacement of approximately 9,000 feet of water line in the Sidman and St. Michael areas, mostly along Locust Street and Lake Road, with multiple railroad and stream crossings. This project will take place in Spring/Summer 2021.
- IN-HOUSE SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
The HSWA Crew will be replacing 20 sanitary manholes in the Richview Manor development in Richland Township and Geistown Borough. Additionally, the HSWA Crew will be replacing sewer main lines throughout Geistown Borough. New 6” sewer main lines will be pushed through the existing 8” sewer pipe. The project will also include the replacement of all existing manholes with new pre-cast concrete manholes and the installation of new public laterals and viewports serving the structures. All work will be pressure tested upon completion.
- UPCOMING PENNDOT PROJECTS
Three PennDOT projects scheduled to take place during 2021/2022 will require HSWA to relocate water and/or sewer lines throughout the service area. The project locations include the Geistown cloverleaf in Geistown Borough; the Elton Road / Forest Hills Drive intersection in Adams Township; and Hostetler Road / Arbutus Avenue in Richland Township.
