Beaverdam Reservoir Regulations

All typical PA Fish and Boat Commission laws and regulations apply to activity at the reservoir. In addition, added stipulations have been imposed by Highland and will be enforced by Commission personnel. The added stipulations are:

  • No sailboats, No sailboards.
  • No internal combustion engines used, in or on any boat. (Only oars and electric motors permitted).
  • No watercraft in excess of seventeen (17) feet permitted.
  • No pollution of the water or watershed.
  • No Littering.
  • No Bathing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving or washing.
  • No camping.
  • No open fires.
  • No Ice-skating.
  • No Ice fishing.
  • No wading.
  • No Fishing/Boating in the "Caretaker's Cove". (buoyed)
  • No Fishing from the Breast, and no Fishing/Boating within 250' from the Breast. (buoyed).
